LANSDALE BOROUGH- On Monday, November 1, 2021, at approximately 6:30 PM, officers of the Lansdale Borough Police Department responded to the 600 block of Lansdale Avenue for a report of an armed subject.  A 911 caller reported the resident intended to kill his family.  The on-scene investigation was resolved peacefully, and it was found that the call was made under false pretenses. 

Reporting false crimes to emergency services is a criminal offense and is punishable with arrest. 

The matter is currently under investigation by the Lansdale Borough Police Department Investigation unit.  If you have any information about the subject or subjects who made this fraudulent report to 911, please contact the Lansdale Borough Police Department at 215-368-1801.
