To obtain an accident report, follow these steps:
Filling Out the Form: Complete the Accident Report Request Form available in the documents section, return it to the department in person or by email to LansdalePolice@lansdalepd.gov. Forms are also available in the police lobby. Forms can be picked up and dropped off 24/7. Record Requests submitted without payment will not be processed. The required $15 fee is payable by check, money order or cash. Please note cash payments much be for the exact amount only.
Eligibility: Reports are available to individuals named in the accident report.
Processing Time: The Records Unit will receive your request on the next business day and will contact you when the report is ready for pick-up. Ensure you provide a phone number where you can be reached between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Please allow at least five business days for processing. The required $15 fee is payable by check, money order or cash. Please note cash payments much be for the exact amount only.
Mail Requests: You may also mail the Accident Report Request Form only with payment to the Lansdale Police, 1 Vine Street, Ste. 101, Lansdale PA 19446. The required $15 fee is payable by check, money order or cash. Please note cash payments much be for the exact amount only.
Payment and Enclosures: Include a non-refundable check or money order in the amount of $15 and a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your request.
Please note that to maintain the privacy of those involved, we do not fax reports.
