This morning at approximately 9:45 in the morning, the 911 center in Montgomery County received a call regarding a possible threat to Penndale Middle School in Lansdale Borough, Pennsylvania. Approximately an hour or so later they received another call for a report of a possible bomb threat to Penndale Middle School. Lansdale Police responded to the location and are working closely with school officials. At this time, the decision has been made to dismiss the school for the day. At which time a comprehensive search and sweep of the building will be conducted. At this time there is nothing to corroborate either of these threats however out the abundance of caution for the student’s safety, school is being dismissed. We will have further updates when we have them.
