Lt. Patty Simons 27th Annual Law Enforcement Food Drive Has Begun

The need is Greater Than Ever!

Inflation is hurting everyone this year and our local food pantries are not immune. The number of people who need their services continues to rise as does the cost of food and other products people depend on. This is a recipe for disaster causing food and personal item donations to drop substantially.

We realize that this is a difficult time for everyone, but if you can support this food drive in any way, that would be fantastic!!  Every donation helps!!

The Lansdale Borough Police Department is a drop-off location for the Lt. Patty Simons 27th Annual Law Enforcement Food Drive! You can drop off donations at our station 24/7.  Needed items include, Non-Perishable Food, Personal Hygiene items such as Soap, Shampoo, Deodorant, and Toothpaste.  Diapers are also needed.

The food collection, one of the largest in our region, will supply numerous Montgomery County food pantries including Manna on Main Street.

If you cannot make it to the station, here are other ways to support this Food Drive!

  •  An Amazon wish list where donations can be ordered and shipped directly to our food drive collection site. The Amazon link to the wish list donation can be accessed at:
  • A Go Fund Me page for monetary donations with monies raised going directly to purchase food.
  • The Norristown Police Foundation will accept donations via check either via mail or by dropping it off to the Norristown Police Foundation, 235 E. Airy Street Norristown, PA 19401.
  • As always, food may be dropped off at all participating police departments and businesses, with the final day of collection being Wednesday, December 14th, 2022.
  • Additional Information and links can also be found at the Lt. Patty Simons Law Enforcement Food Drive Facebook Page at
