LANSDALE BOROUGH- Lansdale Police along with Pennsylvania Representative Steve Malagari were able to help celebrate the 100th Birthday of Doris Fessler.
Doris and her Husband Harold moved to Elm Terrace Gardens in September 2003. Doris is a long time member of the 1st Baptist church and had volunteered at Elm Terrace Gardens prior to moving there. The Fessler’s met at the St. James Methodist Church in Olney, and were married on 8/1/1942.
Doris was born on 2/5/1922 in Philadelphia. Doris graduated in 1940 from Olney High school and worked for Leeds and Northhrup, retiring in 1982 after 25 years of service. After retiring, she worked part time at the Harleysville National Bank for another 10 years and became an “Avon Lady”. Doris enjoyed growing orchids and traveling all over the USA by motor home. Happy Birthday Doris, thank you for letting us celebrate with you and your family!!
