Chief Trail Honors Two Former Employees

LANSDALE BOROUGH- Last night at the Borough Council meeting, Chief Trail presented Frank Krider and Doreen Fox with plaques commemorating their time of service to the Lansdale Borough Police Department.

Doreen Fox started at the Lansdale Police Department in 2003, as Professional Support Staff.  The Professional Support Staff is a vital part of the inner workings of the police department.  Doreen had an opportunity to take a position with the Lansdale Borough Customer Service and left the department for the second floor.  Doreen will be miss but she is still a phone call away if needed!

Frank Krider started working as a crossing guard for Lansdale Borough in 2005 after retiring from working tech support at Bucks County Community College.

Frank was assigned to the crossing at Birch and Valley Forge Roads where he remained for 17 years.

Frank was ready to retire in 2017, but due to personnel shortages with Crossing Guards, Frank remained on to help until 2022.

Frank always assisted with the Borough events and says his favorite event was the Founders Day Fireworks show.

Frank was a dedicated employee and respected by his peers.  Frank will be missed by everyone here at Lansdale PD.  Good Luck Frank and enjoy your well-earned retirement!!
