On January 8, 2022 at 1330hrs police responded to the Hilltop Restaurant for a report of an armed subject.  It was reported that a male had been threatening people with a gun.  The suspect fled prior to police arrival.

          While still investigating the Hilltop incident, the department received a call for a male armed with a knife in the 1100 block of North Pleasantview Road.  Police responded and encountered the armed subject, who was later identified as DOUGLAS MILLS.  MILLS was arrested without incident.  It was determined that MILLS was the suspect from the Hilltop incident.  No one was injured as a result of MILLS' actions.

          He was transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility for processing and housing.  He faces charges of robbery, attempted theft of a motor vehicle, possession of instruments of crime, terrorist threats, assault, and other related charges.
