On June 25, 2021 at approximately 2245 hours the Lower Pottsgrove Township Police were dispatched to the 422 by-pass east bound at mile marker 174.4 for a vehicle accident involving a single vehicle. Police along with the Sanatoga Fire Company and Goodwill Ambulance are still on location at this time. The 422 by-pass east bound between Armand Hammer Blvd., and Evergreen Rd will is shut down and will reopen upon the completion of the accident investigation. Further information will be released once the initial investigation is complete.
UPDATE:
Eastbound 422 was re-opened at 0139hrs. Preliminary investigation indicated that speed and over-correction led to the vehicle overturning. The driver and only occupant was ejected from the vehicle.
