Unfortunately, we are here to remind you again to lock your doors and hide your valuables before you get to the park/lot (NOT UNDER A BLANKET!) 

We have had five cars entered or broken into over the weekend at the Pennypack Trail parking areas, specifically, at 1750 Byberry Road. 

If you saw or heard anything during the following time frames, please call LMPD (215-947-3132) with the details: 

*Friday, June 17, 2022, between 2PM and 4PM

*Saturday, June 18, 2022, between 6PM and 8PM.  

Criminals are opportunists...if they see something in your car that they want, they WILL break your window and TAKE IT!  They don't waste time and will use your credit cards or other identification often before you know they are taken. 

All LMPD squads have been doing extra patrols at all times of the day and night. 

Unfortunately, we can not stop all crime. 

We need your help to minimize your chances of becoming a victim.
