CITIZENS POLICE ACADEMY
Registration is now CANCELLED for the 2024 LMPD Citizens Police Academy class!
Are you interested in how law enforcement works? Have you ever wondered what Lower Moreland police officers do all day? Or are you contemplating a career in law enforcement? Then consider joining the 4th annual class of the Lower Moreland Police Department Citizen's Police Academy!
Classes will take place once a week for five weeks in the evenings, and participants will:
- Get a look behind the scenes in the everyday duties of a police officer.
- Meet the police officers who serve your community.
- Participate in police training and test your skills in live scenarios.
- And much more!
To register for this course, please email Rich at rworthington@lowermoreland.org or call 215-947-3132. You must be 18 years or older to apply. Applicants 17 years old will need department approval and parental permission.

- Week 1 Thursday, October 10th, 7pm-8:30pm
- Week 2 Thursday, October 17th, 7pm-8:30pm
- Week 3 Thursday, October 24th, 7pm-8:30pm
- Week 4 Thursday, November 7th, 7pm-8:30pm
- Week 5 Thursday, November 14th, 7pm-8:30pm
- Week 6 Thursday, November 21st, 7pm-8:30pm
