The Lower Moreland Township Police Department is participating in the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, a nationwide initiative to promote the safe disposal of unwanted and expired medications.
This event aims to address the growing concern of prescription drug abuse and the potential for accidental poisoning. By properly disposing of unused medications, we can help prevent these substances from falling into the wrong hands and reduce the risk of drug-related incidents in our community.
On October 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, residents can bring their unwanted medications to the Lower Moreland Township Police station, located at 640 Red Lion Rd. Our officers will be on hand to collect and safely dispose of the medications.
