April is Distracted Driving Month


Distracted driving is dangerous, claiming 3,142 lives in 2019.  

The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) leads the national effort to save lives by preventing this dangerous behavior.  

You may be asking what is considered 'distracted driving'? 

Any of the following: 

~ sending or reading a text message

~ talking on the phone

~ talking to the people in your vehicle

~ fiddling with the stereo, entertainment, or navigation system

~ ANYTHING that takes your attention from the task of safe driving!
