Application packets are available for pick up starting Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the Hatfield Township Police Department, 2000 School Road, Hatfield, PA 19440. These applications will be available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. Application packets are also available at any time on the township website at www.hatfield.org. If you pick up in person, be aware that COVID protocols are in place at the station. Applications from the website must be downloaded, signed and returned.

The written test will be given on Saturday December 18, 2021 at 9 a.m. at the North Penn High School Computer Lab. Check in for the written test will begin at 8 a.m. The address is 1340 S. Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, PA 19446 (enter the school through the main entrance). Depending on the number of applicants, we reserve the right to assign a second test sitting. COVID protocols will be in place, MASKS ARE REQUIRED. All applicants must present photo identification on the date of testing. No food or drink, cell phones, backpacks, hats, weapons, or purses are permitted in the testing area. Only personal hygiene items are permitted. For applicants who pass the written test, the physical agility portion of the process will be conducted the same day at 12 noon and will be held on school property. Please come prepared with proper clothing. There will be time between the written test and the physical agility testing for eligible applicants to change. Applicants who do not pass the written test will be disqualified from further testing in the application process and not be allowed to proceed with the physical agility testing. Applicants should check the department Facebook page the morning of the testing to ensure there have been no updates to the testing process due to severe weather or other unforeseen events. All applications for examination must be completed and returned to the Hatfield Township Police Department, 2000 School Road, Hatfield, PA 19440 no later than 4 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. It is up to you to make sure your application arrives on time. No exceptions. Hatfield Township Police Department is an approved agency participating in the Veteran’s Administration On-The-Job Training Program, which allows eligible veterans to utilize their Post-9/11 GI Bill education benefits.
