Information gathered through L.O.C.A.T.E. allows Officers responding to a found or missing person call to more quickly reunite someone with family or caregivers. L.O.C.A.T.E. focuses on citizens with special needs such as those with:
- Down Syndrome
- Impaired Hearing
- Language Barriers
- Alzheimer's and related Dementia Disorders
To register with the L.O.C.A.T.E. program, a parent, guardian, or caregiver should visit the police department with the special needs person. A photograph will be taken and a registration form filled out. If you prefer you may download the form and complete it ahead of time. For more information contact the Hatfield Township Police Department at 215-855-0903.
