The Montgomery County Prothonotary's Office has the Hope Card program for individuals that have been granted a final Protection from Abuse (PFA) order.  The card is sent to every individual who has been granted a final Protection from Abuse order from the County Court of Common Pleas.  The business-card-sized document contains the Plaintiff's and Defendant's names, the order's issue date, and the Protection from Abuse Database (PFAD) number.  The card is issued to allow recipients to carry the card on their person, in a wallet or purse, so that the information is readily available and can be shared with any responding Law Enforcement Officer or other relevant party.
