On Friday, July 11, 2025, Plymouth Township Patrol Officers conducted a vehicle investigation on the 1200 block of Ridge Pike, Plymouth Township for tint violations and an obstructed license plate. During the Officer’s vehicle investigation, he detected the odor of marijuana emanating from the inside of the vehicle. The front seat passenger turned over two bags of marijuana to the Officer. While attempting to identify the passenger, who did not possess a valid medical marijuana card, the male provided the officer with two false names. After identifying the passenger via an ID card in his possession, an active arrest warrant from the City of Philadelphia was located. The male, identified as Ahmere Tyrese Bolden was taken into custody on the active arrest warrant.
At the time of the Police contact, a black backpack was situated between Bolden’s legs on the floor of the front passenger seat. Inside that bag, Officers located a black and silver Smith & Wesson SD .30 caliber pistol with an obliterated serial number. The firearm was loaded with fifteen rounds in the magazine and one round in the chamber. Additional amounts of marijuana and paraphernalia were also seized.
Bolden was arraigned and bail was set at 10% of $20,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, July 22, 2025, before District Justice Jodi Griffis.
