Montgomery Township Police participates in the MedReturn program. This program helps our community properly dispose of unused or unwanted prescription medications. This program began in 2010 and since then, thousands of pounds of medications have been safely disposed of. The MedReturn unit is located in the police department lobby and available for drop off 24/7.

Accepted throughout the year are prescription and over the counter tablets and capsules, inhalers, creams, ointments, nasal sprays, pet medications and vaping products. Not accepted are needles, liquid medications and intravenous/injectable solutions. 

In partnership with the Montgomery County Police Chiefs Association and the District Attorney's Office, Montgomery Township Police also hosts a drug take back day twice a year.
