On Saturday, December 14, 2024, a Hatboro resident came across a drone on the ground in their backyard in the 400 block of Madison Avenue. The resident called police and turned the drone over to police in case a child or anyone had lost it. The drone is NOT suspicious in nature.

After researching the make/model of the drone, it is determined to be a beginner drone. Anyone who may have lost their drone, call Hatboro Police at (215) 675-2832 and request to speak with Detective Sgt. Dilks to identify the drone and have it returned to you. The drone does turn on and appears to work properly.
