On Saturday, June 1, 2024, Hatboro Police Sgt. Alex Bruckner and his family suffered a terrible loss when their home caught fire. Fortunately, Sgt. Bruckner, his wife, three young children, mother-in-law and the family pet were unharmed.

Sgt. Bruckner’s home and all belongings were a complete loss, leaving them with virtually nothing.  Sgt. Bruckner has served with our department since December 2010 and is a decorated Army Veteran, serving two tours in Iraq in 2005 and 2007.
