UPDATE:  The investigation by the Upper Moreland Township Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division led to the identification and arrest of the suspect in the case.  The male was taken into custody without incident.  

On June 1, 2023 at 5:45am, an employee of a business on Turnpike Drive was spending his break in his vehicle. A male armed with a handgun entered the backseat of his vehicle. The offender robbed the victim of his phone and wallet. At gunpoint, the offender instructed the victim to drive to his residence in Philadelphia, where the offender entered the home, took money and belongings from the victim's family members, and left on foot.

The offender is described as a light skinned male, white or Hispanic, and around 5'6". The male was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and a surgical mask.
