The Montgomery County Consortium of Communities, on behalf of their respective Civil Service Commissions or Municipalities, will be conducting a written examination for Police Officer on August 2, 2025.
Registration for the exam is opened on June 16, 2025, a single unified application is available on-line at https://www.montcopolicetest.com. The test is scheduled for 8:30am and will take place at Springfield Township High School, 1801 Paper Mill Road, Erdenheim, PA 19038. There will be a physical assessment test held immediately at the conclusion of the written test. Applicants, if they choose, will have several minutes to change or consume food/energy bar, drink, etc., prior to check-in for the physical agility assessment. TO BE CONSIDERED FOR LOWER GWYNEDD:
• Have reached their 21st birthday before the deadline for submitting completed applications
• Be a United States citizen at the time of appointment
• Possess a high school diploma from an accredited high school or a graduate equivalency diploma (GED)
• Be physically and psychologically capable of performing the duties of a police officer
• Possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to appointment
• Be able to read at no less than a ninth-grade level
