NEW PA STATE CELLPHONE LAW
Paul Miller’s Law will take effect on June 5, 2025. Paul Miller’s Law bans the use of handheld devices while driving, even when temporarily stopped in traffic. This means drivers cannot hold their phone or other devices while driving, even at a red light or stop sign.
Drivers will be given warnings until June 5, 2026. After June 5, 2026 driver’s may be issued citations for the violation.
