The mission of the Horsham Township Police Department is to provide professional law enforcement service to Horsham Township and preserve, protect, and enhance the quality of life for the people of Horsham through a broad range of police services. The officers and civilian staff of the Horsham Police Department are dedicated and committed to ensuring Horsham Township is a safe place to raise a family, work, and enjoy life.

Horsham Township is located in the eastern section of Montgomery County and has a residential population of approximately 26,000. We have been proudly protecting and serving the citizens of Horsham Township since the department was established in 1951. The department is comprised of 40 sworn officers who are supported by a 6-member dispatch and clerical staff. In addition to our primary patrol and criminal investigation duties, we provide a wide range of community policing services, including Citizens’ Police Academy, ChATs, National Night Out, Horsham Watch, daily school patrols, and our forensics class for students. We are here to provide the finest police services available to the community. The Horsham Township Police Department is a state-accredited law enforcement agency.
