May is National Bike Month. Look for our officers throughout the township, including the Schuylkill River Trail, Perkiomen Trail and our shopping centers. Sergeant Mulligan was on the Schuylkill River Trail this afternoon talking with trail users and handing out stickers to the kids. The Upper Providence Police promotes safe bicycle riding which includes wearing helmets by all users. To encourage these safe practices, our bike patrol officers have a special surprise for those children who wear their helmets and exhibit safe bicycling. Make sure you stop and say hi if you see us out riding around!
