On Friday, September 30, 2022, at approximately 8:56 PM, officers from the Upper Providence Township Police Department were dispatched to the BJ’s Wholesale Club, located at 200 Mill Road in the Oaks section of Upper Providence, for the report of an attempted robbery of a vehicle.

The victim told the 911 dispatcher that a black male wearing a blue face mask, jeans, and a gray zip-up sweatshirt pulled him out of his vehicle and punched him.  The victim stopped the actor from stealing the vehicle, and the actor fled toward the Goldfish Swim School.  Officers and a police canine responded to the area and could not locate the male actor.
