**UPDATE**

On 8/29 around 2:40pm, we received a tip about a vehicle with damage matching the striking vehicle. Upon investigation, it was determined that the damage to the vehicle was a match to the pieces collected on scene and required information was obtained from the driver. The driver of the striking vehicle will be charged with appropriate citations, including "Accidents involving damage to attended vehicle"

The Royersford Police is seeking the public's help to locate a white 2010-2012 Nissan Altima involved in a hit and run crash this morning, 8/29 just before 7:30am. Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 5th Ave and Main Street and were able to recover pieces of the striking vehicle. Anyone observing a vehicle similar to the one in the photo with moderate damage to the circled area requested to contact police or submit a tip via CrimeWatch. The striking vehicle is missing this section of the bumper and wheel well.
