On April 20, 2021 at 8:20 AM, Upper Gwynedd Police Department was dispatched to the area of Sandys Lane and Weber Road for a report of a Domestic between a male and a female. Upon arrival, the involved parties were gone. Officer Fahem contacted Witness 1 via telephone who stated that she noticed a silver sedan, which looked like it spun around and came to rest against the curb on Sandys Lane and Weber Road. Witness 1 said she then saw an unconscious woman lying on the ground next to the silver Neon with its doors open with some scattered belongings around her. Witness 1 said another driver who approached the scene saw the unconscious woman also and yelled at her to get up. Witness 1 said the woman stood up and was holding her stomach and throwing up excessively and shouting "I AM OKAY, I DON'T WANT THE POLICE TO BE CALLED, I JUST NEED TO STAY AWAY FROM TIM'', and then drove off towards Welsh Road. Officer Fahem then contacted Witness 2. Witness 2 said she heard a commotion which went on for a few minutes. She said she looked out from her window and she saw a female and a male on bicycle who she identified as the victim’s boyfriend, Tim Morvin, whom she knew from numerous other encounters. Witness 2 said she saw the victim and Morvin punching and shoving each other. She said a silver sedan was awkwardly rested against the curb where Morvin was with his bicycle. Witness 2 said after a brief exchange of punches, Morvin grabbed an object which looked like a pipe, and hit the victim in the stomach, which resulted in the victim falling to the ground and vomiting. Witness 2 said Morvin then got on his bicycle and rode off as the victim laid on the ground.
Timothy Morvin is being charged with Simple Assault-Attempt, Harassment-Strike, Shove, Kick, Etc. and Disorderly Conduct. He was arraigned before Judge Suzan Leonard and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 1230.
