On Friday, April 17, 2020, three males wearing masks stole three Paslode nailers from Lowe’s, 2002 Chemical Road, Plymouth Meeting, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. An investigation revealed that Richard Kowalko, Robert Lagera, and William J. Becker of Philadelphia were responsible for the retail theft, which resulted in a loss of $1,043.97 to Lowe’s.
Warrants were obtained for Richard Kowalko, Robert Lagera, and William J. Becker.
On Sunday, May 24, 2020, the Philadelphia Police Department turned over to our agency Richard Kowalko, Robert Lagera after they committed another retail theft in Philadelphia.
On Monday, May 25, 2020, Magisterial District Judge Maurice Saylor arraigned Richard Kowalko, and Robert Lagera. Bail was set at $5,000.00 cash and a detainer was lodged against Richard Kowalko by the Montgomery County Adult Probation Department. Robert Kowalko and Robert Lagera were transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility to await their preliminary hearing.
The warrant for William J. Becker remains active.
