On Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at approximately 1207 hours, members of the Upper Moreland Township Police Department responded to Lowe’s, 4055 Welsh Road, Upper Moreland Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania for a Spencer Wright, attempting to purchase appliances using someone else’s identity and being wanted by the Plymouth Township Police Department.
Wright was taken into custody without incident and found to have fraudulent identification in two victims’ names.
Wright was also arrested on a warrant for an incident that took place at Target within Plymouth Township where he assumed someone else’s identity.
Wright was video arraigned on the case from Upper Moreland Township, as well as the two cases originating in Plymouth Township. His total bail is $22,000.00 cash. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Magisterial District Judge Andrea Duffy on Friday, May 22, 2020 at noon.

On Monday, February 17, 2020, Spencer Wright, whose last known address was in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, purchased $8,800.00 worth of merchandise at Lowe’s 2002 Chemical Road, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 using the identity of a victim who has no connection to him.
Wright had also used another identity to rent a U-Haul truck to pick up the merchandise he had purchased.
On Tuesday, March 9, 2020, a warrant was issued for Spencer Wright charging him with identity theft and related offenses.
