This incident occurred on or about June 10, 2011. The victim reported that on June 10, 2011 she observed a home health aid , who was hired to care for a family member, walking around the residence and not caring for the patient. It was later discovered that several checks were missing from the victim's checkbook. One of the checks was passed in Philadelphia for $5,500. An investigation tracked down the home health aid. Further investigation revealed that the check was deposited into the account of Armstead King III via an ATM. Photos of the ATM transaction revealed that the health care aid and Armstead King conducted the transaction together. Money was then withdrawn from the account. The account information also reveals that King would not have had the amount of funds to cover the withdraw if it weren't for depositing the stolen check.
