Officers join students at St. Aloysius for 9-11 Memorial Service
Lower Pottsgrove Officers join Saint Aloysius School students in remembrance of 9-11
A number of Lower Pottsgrove Township Police officers made their way to the Saint Aloysius School at about 9:15 Am this morning to join the staff and students in their 9-11 remembrance service held in front of the school. The service included patriotic music, a flag raising ceremony, a moment of silence and reflection on the lives lost, and a showing of appreciation for the heroic efforts of both civilians and emergency responders who tended to the crisis on September 11, 2001.
Chief Michael Foltz, Sgt. William James, Det. Sgt. Joseph Campbell and Det. Daniel Kienle attended the event and interacted with the students and staff of the school. The event last approximately 20 minutes. The Departmetn extends a special thank you to Principal Bonnie Delciotto, Father Joseph Maloney, Father Francesco D'Amico and all the staff and students for allowing us to be part of your service!
