Ofc. Vasek joins the department following the recent retirement of Sgt. Robert Greenwood. He will bring the department back to full staffing of 20 sworn officers. Chris previously worked as a part-time officer in Birmingham Township, Chester County. Chris is 28 yrs old. He graduated from Garnett Valley High School and received his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from West Chester University. Tantorno continues to work the streets with his assigned Field Training Officers. Newly hired officers are assigned to work with an FTO for approximately 4 months before they are placed in their own car to work independently.
