VEHICLE ACCIDENT
Lower Pottsgrove Twp. Police responded to a one vehicle accident in front of 1710 N. Keim St. Lower Pottsgrove Twp. A northbound vehicle being driven at a high rate of speed lost control on a slight right bend in the roadway. The operator tried to maintain control but overcorrected causing the vehicle to slide off the side of N. Keim St., through the yard of 1710 N. Keim St. and impact with a Met Ed utility pole. The driver sustained minor injuries and refused EMS at the scene. The vehicle sustained severe damage as a result of the crash. Sanatoga Auto Body removed the vehicle from the scene. Lower Pottsgrove PD was assisted at the scene by Goodwill EMS, Ringing Hill Fire Company and Ringing Hill and Sanatoga Fire Police. N. Keim St. was closed for approx. 45 minutes white the scene was cleared. Several houses in the immediate area of the crash had their power knocked out as a result of the crash. Met Ed responded and restored power as the scene was being cleared.
