On January 27, 2021, the Lower Pottsgrove Police were at a home in the 1700 block of North Keim Street, Lower Pottsgrove Township, to serve an arrest warrant for Joshua Angelucci, 40, of Pottstown. Officers observed Angelucci inside of the home. Angelucci refused to exit the home and surrender to police. Attempts were made by police to negotiate with Angelucci to exit the home, but Angelucci refused to exit the home. Montgomery County SWAT responded to the home and began negotiations with Angelucci. Angelucci eventually surrendered to SWAT Officers. Angelucci was transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
Angelucci was arraigned on charges of Stalking, Harassment, Intimidation of a Witness, and Criminal Coercion. Bail was set at $500,000 and Angelucci was remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
