Lower Pottsgrove Twp. Police responded to the wooded area off of Armand Hammer Blvd near the former Occidental Chemical property and the Schuylkill River for the report of human remains being discovered. Several hunters in the area noticed what they believed to be human bones in the woods and notified police. Lower Pottsgrove Twp. Police responded to the area and confirmed the fact that these were human bones and the area was cordoned off. Lower Pottsgrove Twp Police are being assisted in this investigation by the Montgomery County Detective Bureau and the Montgomery County Coroner's Office to determine the cause and manner of death as well as identifying the remains.. The investigation is on going.
