At approximately 3 AM this date (June 20, 2018), the Lower Pottsgrove Police Department responded to the Rolling Hills Apartments, 2120 Buchert Road Apartment #135, to investigate a tip of illegal drug manufacturing in progress. Upon arrival, officers made contact with four occupants of the apartment. Subsequent to the investigation the officers identified components of an illegal drug lab to manufacture methamphetamine. The four subjects have been detained pending further investigation. Lower Pottsgrove Police were assisted on scene by the Pennsylvania State Police Clandestine Lab unit, the Montgomery County Detectives, Upper Pottsgrove Township Police. Limerick Township Police and Royersford Borough Police Department. Evidence was seized indicating this location was being used to manufacture methamphetamine and criminal charges are pending outcome of the investigation.
The apartment in which the incident took place was condemned by Lower Pottsgrove Codes Department as result of the contamination from the chemicals used in the manufacturing operation. The apartment was turned over to Rolling Hills Management.
UPDATE 06/21/2018 All three subject were held in Montgomery County Prison in Lieu of $75,000 bail each. A warrant is being issued for fourth subject who fled the scene on foot as officers arrived. The warrant and subjects identity will be posted when the warrant is obtained.
UPDATE 06/25/2018: Amber Devine was also picked up on a warrant relating to this case. Her bail was also set at $75,000 and she is currently in Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
