On September 10, 2020, at approximately 13:41 hours, officers responded to Fisher's Ace Hardware store for a reported theft in progress.
Upon arrival, officers were met by employees who reported two offenders stole six hundred and eighty-eighty dollars' worth of merchandise and fled the store. Video surveillance captured the offenders loading a shopping cart full of various retail items. The offenders approached the checkout counter, and the male offender placed the retail items on the counter for checkout. After the employee scanned the items, the female offender put them in a bag she retrieved from under her arm and walked out of the store. The male offender fled the store shortly thereafter.
The surveillance video depicted offender #1 as a middle-aged white male, wearing a black baseball cap, gray tee-shirt with white strips on the sleeves, red athletic style shorts. He had two unique tattoos; one on the top portion of his right hand and another on the right side of his neck. Offender #2 was a white female, medium build, wearing glasses, a black skull cap, a red shirt with black sleeves, and black spandex pants with white writing on the left leg.
