NATIONAL EMS WEEK, MAY 21-27, 2023

We can't let the week go by without recognizing our partners in the EMS world during this week.  

May 21-27, 2023, is the 49th annual National EMS Week. In 1974, President Gerald Ford authorized EMS Week to celebrate EMS practitioners and the important work they do in our nation's communities. This year's theme is EMS: Where Emergency Care Begins. 

During EMS week, it is important to honor and recognize the paramedics, EMTs, and others in EMS who do so much for our community.  The primary EMS provider for Lower Moreland Township and Bryn Athyn Borough is the Bryn Athyn Rescue Squad.  They are available 24/7/365 to respond to medical emergencies. 

Again, a HUGE thank you to the paramedics, EMTs and other personnel at the Bryn Athyn Rescue Squad and all of our other mutual aid EMS agencies!
