THURSDAY, AUGUST 18, 2022, 1:30pm: SUBJECT HAS BEEN LOCATED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION IN THIS MATTER.

On 08/16/2022 at approximately 10:54 am, LMPD investigated an abandoned vehicle in a cemetery at 101 Byberry Road. The vehicle had been in the cemetery since Sunday 08/14/2022 and was discovered to be registered to Stephen Zborowsky.

Zborowsky was arrested for domestic assault against his wife on 08/06/2022 and had been residing with his brother in Philadelphia since the arrest. Zborowsky’s family expressed concern since Zborowsky was last seen on Sunday 08/14/2022 and he told his brother that he was going to kill himself by jumping off a boulder in Lorimer Park and told his mother he would buy a rifle and shoot himself in the vehicle. Zborowsky’s cell phone was found in the vehicle and was seized. A search of the cemetery with bloodhounds and a drone were unsuccessful for Zborowsky. The car was also searched and he not located inside. A child gun lock was found inside the vehicle but Zborowsky does not own any guns nor was he found to have made any recent purchases.

Abington Police were advised of the threat of possible suicide at Lorimer Park.
