Case

On November 22, 2021, officers responded to a call for a catalytic converter theft in the area of Glendale Road. The complainant reported they parked their work vehicle in front of their home on November 19th, in the evening, and left it in proper condition. On the date of the report, 11/22/21, the complainant stated the exhaust was louder than usual when the vehicle was started in the early morning hours.

Upon inspection of the vehicle, the complainant noticed a saw blade on the ground under his vehicle and an attempted theft of the catalytic converters. The actors made an unsuccessful attempt due to partial cuts on the catalytic converters causing the loud exhaust sounds.
