On August 28, 2022, Officers were on patrol at the intersection of Steven Dr and Pine Rd when they observed a white Audi traveling north on Pine Rd. The Audi drove around the posted barricades drove in the oncoming lane. The Audi continued to cross the double yellow lane with its left tires, weaving within its traveling lane. Officers initiated a traffic stop.
The driver appeared disoriented and upon further investigation officer’s believed Zhang was under the influence of alcohol to a degree that rendered him unsafe to operate a motor vehicle. Zhang was placed under arrest.
CRIMINAL CHARGES, AND ANY DISCUSSION THEREFORE, ARE MERELY ALLEGATIONS AND ALL DEFENDENTS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL AND UNLESS PROVEN GUILTY.
