On August 1st, 2021 at 1158 hours, a TD Bank Teller dialed 911 to report that a subject at the drive thru was attempting to make a withdrawal using a fake identification card. The teller stated the subject was operating a black sports car and was in the first lane of the drive thru. The subject was described as a white male in his 30’s and trying to withdraw $3000.
Officers arrived on scene a short time later and located a black Ford Mustang in the drive-thru which had no registration affixed to the vehicle. Officers approached the vehicle and spoke to the operator who was a white male. The subject admitted to Officers that he was not the person portrayed on the identification card he had supplied to the bank. He then provided Officers with a Connecticut Driver's License which revealed his true identity. Justin Varvaro was arrested on all the stated charges.
Upon further investigation, it was discovered that more fraudulent withdrawals were made from the same bank account at TD Bank - Philadelphia locations.
