On Saturday January 9, 2021 at 12:25 AM, Lansdale Police Officers responded to the 300 block of Perkiomen Avenue for report of a suspicious male going through the caller's vehicle to the rear of the residence.
Officers checked the area on foot and found a subject in a squatting position leaning against a house who then jumped up and ran from officers. The subject ran through a yard and then got on the ground where officers took him into custody.
The subject was identified as Aaron J. Munson. Two sandwich bags of suspected marijuana were found in Munson’s possession. Munson showed signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Munson was charged with Theft from a motor vehicle, Loitering and prowling at nighttime, Public Drunkenness, and other related charges. Munson is on State Parole and he was arraigned in front of Judge Scott who gave Munson $50,000 cash bail. He was remanded to Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
