On October 12, 2018 at approximately 6:00 PM, a Hatfield Township Police Officer responded to a financial institution in the 100 block of Forty Foot Road in Hatfield Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania for a reported identity theft and attempted bank fraud.

Investigation revealed a white female suspect operating a newer white Nissan Altima sedan utilized the drive thru teller lane in an attempt to cash a check for $2,350.00 made payable to an elderly female.  The female suspect presented the elderly female's identification and debit card during the transaction.  The bank teller became suspicious and directed the female suspect to come inside to complete the transaction but she drove off and left the stolen documents behind.  We are seeking to identify this female suspect and ask that anyone who recognizes her or the vehicle she was operating to contact the Hatfield Township Police Department #215-855-0903 or you may click the submit a tip button below.
